Sunday Winter Openings
Visit the zoo any Sunday during the month of March to enjoy a 1-kilometre walk outdoors and view our winter-hardy animals.
Dates & Hours
- Dates: March 6, 13, 20, and 27, 2022
- Hours: 11 am to 3 pm. All guests must exit by 3:45 pm.
Tickets
- A limited number of tickets will be available during four arrival sessions: 11 am – 12 pm, 12-1 pm, 1-2 pm, and 2-3 pm.
- Visitors can arrive anytime during their arrival session and their visit length is not limited to the one hour block.
- All visitors are strongly encouraged to purchase their tickets online. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Tickets are available for purchase starting on the Friday before each Sunday.
- Visitors may purchase their tickets upon arrival if the tickets for the current session have not been sold out.
Services
- The outdoor Americas section of the Zoo will be open to view the winter hardy animals*.
- The animals will be available for viewing in the Ecodome.
- Maple products will be available for purchase from the Mobile Sugar Bush.
- Hot drinks and snacks will be available for purchase in the vending machines inside the Acadian Forest Bistro.
- The playground and washrooms will be open.
- Portable washrooms will be available in the parking lot.
- Wheelchairs are available on a first come, first served basis. Toddler carts are not available.
