Home school camps
Home school camps are for home-schooled children between grades 1 and 5.
Camp Features
Each camp day features its own special theme, and all activities, from games and crafts to animal visits, are inspired by that day’s topic. Campers will explore the Magnetic Hill Zoo, prepare enrichment for the animals, meet fascinating animals up close in the classroom, enjoy outdoor playtime at the playground, and so much more… all while learning, creating, and having tons of fun!

Details
Drop off time: 8:30-9:00 a.m.
Pick up time: 3:00 p.m.
Cost: $40 per student per day
Age Group: Grades 1-5
Group size: up to 12 campers with one adult or between 13 to 20 campers with two adults.

Additional information
- For safety purposes, campers will be unable to remain at camp if they cannot completely understand the camp language in which they are registered. These campers would be dismissed with no refund of camp fees.
- During camp, campers may be videotaped or photographed on behalf of the Magnetic Hill Zoo. Attendance at camp serves as permission for use of these images for the promotion of the Zoo’s education programs. Parents can opt out of this policy by indicating on their child’s registration form.
- Our camps follow a zero tolerance for physical or verbal violence. In the case of infractions, the camper(s) will be immediately dismissed from camp for the remainder of the day and there will be no refund of camp fees.
- Our cancellation policy is 100% refundable if we get 14 days’ notice from the parents or guardians.
Registration
- Registration will open on Tuesday September 1st at noon. A button will appear here when registration is open.
- Registrations are only accepted online.
- Visa and MasterCard are accepted methods of payment. Regretfully, Visa Debit, MasterCard Pass, Interac, and AMEX are not accepted methods of payment.
