The Magnetic Hill Zoo is Atlantic Canada’s leading zoo that educates and inspires conservation action. Please read the following information to plan your visit.
Services
- Weather permitting, the outdoor sections of the Zoo will be open to view the winter hardy animals in the Americas and Discovery sections (in March 2026).
- The animals will be available for viewing in the Ecodome (in March 2026).
- Hot drinks and snacks will be available for purchase in the vending machines inside the Acadian Forest Bistro.
- The playground and washrooms will be open.
TRAINED SERVICE DOGS
The Magnetic Hill Zoo is proud to be an accessible facility and welcomes handlers and their trained service dogs.
Therapy dogs/animals and emotional support dogs/animals are not permitted inside the Zoo.
