The Magnetic Hill Zoo is Atlantic Canada’s leading zoo that educates and inspires conservation action. Please read the following information to plan your visit.
Services
- Weather permitting, the outdoor sections of the Zoo will be open to view the animals.
- The animals will be available for viewing in the Ecodome, Imaginarium, and the Container.
- Hot drinks and snacks will be available for purchase in the vending machines inside the Acadian Forest Bistro.
- The Acadian Forest Bistro’s hot food service will be open on weekends in September and October 19-20, and 26-27.
- The playground and washrooms will be open.
- Daily keeper talks (subject to change):
- Lions 11 a.m.
- Condor 1 p.m.
- Otters 3:30 p.m.
- Enjoy a chat with one of our zookeepers who may be available during your visit.
- Wheelchairs and toddler carts will be available for rent upon arrival and on a first come, first served basis.
TRAINED SERVICE DOGS
The Magnetic Hill Zoo is proud to be an accessible facility and welcomes handlers and their trained service dogs.
Therapy dogs/animals and emotional support dogs/animals are not permitted inside the Zoo.
