  • View our animals in the Americas, Africa, Asia and Discovery sections of the zoo including the Ecodome, Container, Guinea Pig World and Imaginarium.
  • Guests can get closer to our alpacas and fallow deer, or goats in our contact areas.  There is the option to feed them for a  loony (1$).  Please note there are no change options near the contact areas, so please bring your loonies with you or get change at our Admissions Building.
  • Guests ages 3 to 10 years can partake in our Tarpan Horse Experience (pony rides) for 7$ taxes in.
  • During your visit, look out for our Meet the Keeper signs to learn more about our animals and how you can help them in the wild!
  • The Acadian Forest Bistro (near our playground) is open 7 days a week from 10am until 5pm selling food, drinks and snacks including BeaverTails. There is also a snack hut on our back deck near the Admissions building that is open 11am until 5pm daily.
  • The playground and all washrooms are open.
  • Toddler carts are available for rent upon arrival and on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Please note that there is no guarantee to see every species on your visit. The well-being of our animals is important to us, and therefore, they are given the choice to use their entire habitat (indoor and outdoor) during different seasons/times of the day. There may be times when the animals are in another area of the habitat or participating in a biomedical training session with the animal care team for example.
