Hours: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Halloween activities end at 4 p.m.)

👻 Three levels of Halloween venues (mild, moderate, or scary; choose your thrill level).

🐾 Visit the Zoo animals during your adventure.

🐒 Animal feeding stations (loonies only).

☀️ Playground fun for the little ones and bouncy castles (socks mandatory and no makeup allowed).

🦇 About the Venues

Each Halloween venue is rated by scare level, so you can choose your perfect experience:

  • 🎃 Scaredy-Cat 1: Not scary; lots of fun decorations (sometimes animals too!).
  • 👀 Scaredy-Cat 2: A little spooky with animatronics and a few jump scares.
  • 💀 Scaredy-Cat 3: Full-on haunted with live actors, spooky sounds, fog, and gore. (Not recommended for guests under 16).

  • Although costumes are encouraged, costume accessories that could cause injury to other visitors or our animals are prohibited. (i.e. masks, fake swords, wands, balloons, weapons, etc.).
  • Boo at the Zoo is an event held in collaboration with the Friends of the Zoo. The Friends of the Zoo is a non-profit volunteer organization which promotes and supports the Magnetic Hill Zoo and its programs. All net profits from this event go directly to building improvements at the zoo.
  • Complimentary tickets will be accepted.
